To help out the collecting community in kind I want to make a one stop Xbox collecting resource thread here discussing all things xbox concerning Console variants, Cover variants and the sort so feel free to share anything xbox and help those who want to start collecting, actively collecting, or just plain curious about anything xbox. Thanks!

You know that's a tough one especially for the original xbox as rarity often times does not equate high value.

But if you go by the current trends for moderate to high value IMO

Steel Battalion 1st print
Conkers Live and Reloaded
Jurassic Park Operation Genesis
Teen Titans
IHRA Sportsman Edition
Barbie Horse Adventure
Batman Rise of Sin Tzu Commemorative Edition Batgirl figure and or Batman Figure
Halo Triple Pack
GTA Trilogy

As for rare games these titles IMO are rare and extremely rare

NASCAR 07 Limited Edition Walmart exclusive
NASCAR 06 Total Team Control Limited edition Walmart excusive
Outlaw Golf with free dozen golf balls
Darkwatch with bonus T-shirt
Action Double Pack with Halo and Brute Force (debatable in that it may have been only released in Canada only)
Shrek Super Party With the free watch included (watch is very difficult to find)
Tony Hawk Project 8 with skate deck

We have a nickname for the XBOX here

we put an O in front of it. Its kinda an inside joke, dont know who started it.

You should make a list of the Rarest of the rare. The ones that were hard for you to get, and you think will get even harder in the future!

I have some oXBOX games, a little over 100 of them. I wasnt big on collecting them back when it was active. I had the PS2 and GC. But there are some nice exclusives for it too.

There are some super common games too. Whenever I go to the fleamarket, I always find Dance Dance Revolution, Cel Damage, Whacked, Fusion Frenzy and Brute Force.

Mostly Microsoft Titles. They must have made a bunch or they just dont get gamers attention anymore.

Yeah you are correct Metal Wolf Chaos is an expensive and rare title. I'm just collecting for the US for now however I know there are a lot of JP, PAL xbox games that I would like to add.

But the thing that is a challenge to find and maybe never ever be able to complete is the lord of the rings Fellowship of the rings collectible cards included in the games. From my calculation I came to 100+ cards so yeah it will take awhile.

You can rename and update the OP as you take more pictures maybe even show some of the hardware. With that many games hopefully you have more then one Xbox! I suspect from your login name you might also have a Sega collection?

I am a recent Original Xbox collector and love some of the exclusives that it offers. There are also alternative controls such as a SmartJoy Frag with a Trakball that work great in certain titles such as Panzer Dragoon.
