Rancor ordered me a bunch of super famicom carts for me and he just alerted me that Gundam Endless duel that was listed in good condition cart only arrived to him in excellent condition. this has actually happened a number of times on Amazon.jp where used games listed as good come complete and mint and often with bonus swag like soundtracks and strategy guides. It pisses me off to no end when US sellers list cart only games as LIKE NEW, do they even read the guidelines of what LIKE NEW is? I don't care how minty the cart is if it lacks the box and instructions it is not at all LIKE NEW.
I get really upset by the way item conditions are perceived on Ebay and Amazon. Most sellers on those sites are only concerned with selling things, and not with appeasing buyers.
While it's definitely cool that you got more than what you were expecting from Amazon.jp, it's not without its deadbeats. Sellers there take the recourse more seriously, but I've received things that weren't as described there as well: Ordered Capcom vs SNK 2 for DC, and received a CvS2 case and manual with CvS disk (contacted the seller and was told to just keep them after being refunded); ordered "Very Good" condition Azel PD RPG, without any specific details, and received it with weird black, padding stickers under the discs on the disc trays; ordered "Good" condition Magical Taruruto kun with no details other than 'complete,' and received it with sun-faded, torn spine, and broken box (along the spine). I've also received a number of cartridge games with pins so dirty, I'm unsure of how the seller actually got it to load for testing. It can still be pretty hit or miss on Amazon.jp, as well.
Trader.com, though, will often list imperfections on games where I've not noticed anything wrong with them. Love that place.
