I really enjoy Happy Console Gamer and The NES Punk is really good.

I had a friend that like watching Ultraneko, good looking gal but something bout her just raises my bullshit detector whenever I've seen some of her videos.

Thought I'd necro this thread to basically advertise Kimble Justice's excellent youtube channel. http://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9ZWVL1Elyt2cdiQYjxS_1w

Being a Britisher like myself he mostly his videos mostly focus on mega drive and amiga games but at the moment he is doing his own A-Z of licensed games be they good, bad or bizarre. Check him out.

Also love Game Sack. But who doesn't?

http://www.youtube.com/user/blacklily8 matt chat: interviews oldschool game developers and dedicates episodes to talking about classic games
http://www.youtube.com/user/Campster errant signal: "Academic" video analysis of games and different phenomenons in gaming
Noah Caldwell-Gervais: same as Campster, except the videos are longer and there are less of them, focusing on a single game series at a time
http://www.youtube.com/user/ExtraCreditz Extra credits: A show that focuses on different aspects of game design every week
http://www.youtube.com/user/phreakindee Lazy Game Reviews: Retro (and modern) game reviews in style of Classic Game Room, though usually a bit longer and somewhat more in depth
http://www.youtube.com/user/MrGameSack Game Sack: The episodes are usually around 20 minutes and focus on a single platform or genre

+Classic Game Room naturally
My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)
Also looking to buy: Ys III (TG-16 CD), Shadowrun (Genesis) Hori N64 mini pad and Slayer (3DO) in long box/just the long box

I feel like those guys play a big part in the game inflation. I know they can't control (I mean people looking for a business opportunity) who watches their channel but It sucks that people take advantage of the fact that the retro gaming community loves to share and communicate with each other. These hipsters sit around watching their videos only to flip games and increase inflation.

Anyways, Metal Jesus Rocks and Alpha Omega Sin

Also, I agree about Gamester81. He lacks the charisma that many other gaming channels have.

It's not just the charisma. Personally I don't mind so much whether they have a sparkly personality or not.
Gamester just seems somehow genuinely unprepared when he reviews stuff.
Watch a few of his vids. You'll know what I mean.

Take this as an example,

As a type of first look/thoughts kind of video, it's ok. But you can't be "reviewing" something when clearly you yourself are not entirely sure and are still trying to learn the workings of it.
That type of vid should not be used by ANYBODY to judge the quality of the system.

I was adding on to what you guys were saying. I feel you on the unpreparedness though. Charisma plays a big part on who I like. I mean i'm not going to watch a someone who isn't interested in what they are talking about and have a monotone voice.
