I've never had any real interest in the Jaguar outside of the AvP game I've always wanted to play. Most of the other games I see on lists that I'd want to play are available on other systems. So for the price it goes for, I don't see myself ever buying one unless I just get lucky and come across a great deal for one.

Theres quite a few good games on the system that were either never released on other systems, or were but not as good as the Jaguar version. For example Wolfenstein 3D is by far the best version of that game in existence, with vastly superior graphics and sound than any other port. Tempest 2000 as well. There were a lot of great exclusive games like Zool 2, Iron Soldier I/II, Super Burnout, Power Drive Rally, etc.

Did it have nearly as many quality titles as the Saturn or PSX? Definitely not, but I'd argue it has as many good games as the 3DO or Sega CD or other of its contemporaries. However I do agree the prices on Jaguar games on eBay have gone a little crazy, which could make it prohibitive.

Agree with all these. If you like puzzle/Lemming type games. Dino Dudes is actually quite fun.

Ultra Vortek doesn't use 6 button controller IIRC. I believe the games that benefit from it most are Fight for Life, Primal Rage, & AvP (strafing).

The Pro controller benefits all games greatly because of how much better the d-pad is. It makes games like Ultra Vortek and Kasumi Ninja actually playable and easy to pull off moves. The extra buttons help out a lot in Iron Soldier too :)
