Well a Vita would be my priority at least for this upcoming year.

There's also Youkai Watch and Fantasy Life, two RPGs from Level 5 that haven't been announced for localization. Devil Survivor 2: Break Record seems like a lock to come west.

Can't wait for the DS2 remake. Since I haven't played the original. But Devil Survivor Overclocked was great. Definitely worth playing even though I had already played Devil Survivor on the DS.

With SMTIV releasing, I've been researching 3DS RPGs that will be released outside of JPN:

Pokémon X/Y - October '13
Zelda A Link Between Worlds - November '13
Bravely Default - 2014

Others announced, confirmed, or rumored?

Etrian Odyssey Untold I guess is up in the air due to Atlus' recent setback.

Etrian Odyssey Untold has a release date and preorders were announced after atlus troubles. That will replace Zelda as the 3rd RPG on your list.

Also, notice I didn't say JRPG. While those my RPG of choice... I'm in the camp that Zelda is its own type of action RPG (level up HP, level up armor, level up weapons, NPCs, dungeons, overworld/Hyrule & just has that "get sucked in" RPG feel to me). I'm sure there are 89 threads on this though. Just my 2¢.

Yeah I had an evil grin on my face when I mentioned it. This argument happens every few months. You have a few who share your pov, but the majority consensus on racket is that it isn't an rpg.

Thanks for the input. I'm really enjoying the 3DS & look forward to the RPGs to come. Hope it brings as many as the DS & PSP.

I'm pretty excited for Vita RPGs too. Hopefully we can get some innovative RPGs with shiny graphics this time around.
