It's pretty much guaranteed to be awesome as SEGA are only the publisher - Platinum Games (aka Clover Studio of Okami, God Hand & Viewtiful Joe fame) are developing it.
That makes no sense, considering the topic is about Golden Axe sucking and that game was developed by Secret Level with Sega acting as "only the publisher".
Using your logic that means that Madworld could absolutely suck.
The reason MadWorld won't suck is because Platinum Games are developing it. The reason Golden Axe sucks is because Secret Level developed it. My logic is based around the fact that Platinum are one of the best up and coming studios out there, featuring some of the greatest talent to pass through Capcom in the last decade (Shinji Mikami of Resident Evil fame, Hideki Kamiya creator of DMC & Viewtiful Joe, Yuta Kimura artist for Okami & Shadow of the Colossus, Nao Ueda developer of RE4 & Okami, Masami Ueda composer for the Resident Evil series, etc, etc) In comparison, Secret Level are garbage.
Platinum Games have made (as Clover); Viewtiful Joe series (one of the most celebrated side-scrolling beat em up's of recent years), God Hand (cult 3d comedy-action beat em up) & Okami (Zelda-like action RPG adventure with a beautiful sumi-e painted art-style). They are also currently developing MadWorld (highly stylized comedy action adventure), Infinite Space (ambitious DS RPG that sees the player create their own spaceship and explore galaxies) & Bayonetta (action adventure game from Hideki Kayima, the creator of Devil May Cry).
Secret Level have made; Golden Axe: Beast Rider (shitting on one of SEGA's most loved franchises with this abortion of a game), Iron Man (a terrible and lacklustre attempt at a super hero game), Americas Army (a war sim shooter, probably Secret Levels best game, but only because Ubisoft co-developed it), Karaoke Revolution (lol) & Star Wars: Starfighter (a buggy and underwhelming action spaceshooter).
