Pile the consoles on the tables in front of and to the side of the couch. Even the switch boxes can be mounted under the table with metal plumbers tape.

This way they are all in reach without having to get my lazy butt up to change a game.

My old roommate used this for his aquarium when he lived here, so I'm assuming it's an aquarium stand. Regardless, it holds the TV nicely.

I cannot find the tape measure to give you dimensions but hopefully this gives you an idea of something similar. Again, I have a 34" Trinitron so keep that in mind

What my 27" RCA Tru Flat sits on:

I actually bought this stand in 2006 bc after a couple of years, the CRT had started buckling the wooden entertainment center it was on, ha! I've seen similar sturdy CRT stands @ Goodwill lately. Keep an eye out.

Normally my gigantic Sony DVD/Video CD/VHS sits on the top shelf but in another room at the moment.

Quick update:
TV is 27"
I have 38" worth of room

I need to fit:
Gen model 1/CD model 2
Saturn
Dreamcast
NES
SNES
N64
Game Cube w/Gameboy player
Turbo Duo
XBOX
PS2

I am thinking of using a shelving unit from Walmart. It's 74" tall, but if I cut the legs in 1/2 it will only be 37" tall. Which is a respectable height I think.

Most of the crap at Wal*Mart is made of particle Board. Get a stand made of real wood or made of metal.

Oh, sorry. It's a shelving unit made for supplies in a garage :) I was going to saw the legs down to fit as much crap as possible in my room.

The main problem I have is I have a itty bitty 10x10 room for my "Man Room". I have a neo geo arcade, a mame arcade, a desktop with dual monitors and 2 av40 speakers. Until recently I also had one of those couches that turns into a bed as well. So this is a question of fitting a TON of retro gear on one tiny wall. Ideally I would like to have 1 of every console (just one. not genesis model 1, 2 etc...) working through one Sony Trinitron TV, all with flash carts so I can play any retro game on the original hardware at the flip of a button.
