I'm downloading Fable III right now. I got it free with an XBox Live Gold Subscription, which was on special for $1 for only a month. So I basically just got Fable III for $1!

^ That's really cool. I always picture the classic "space marine with helmet on" cover art but I forgot about the also cool alt artwork above.

Thanks man. Yeah the PS1 box art is interesting. I really like the Jaguar box art (similar to SNES & 32x but overall cleaner presentation IMO). Saturn art is alright. My DOOM "collection" below:Snatch1414 wrote:^ That's really cool. I always picture the classic "space marine with helmet on" I'll eer art but I forgot about the also cool alt artwork above.

That Doom Guy is similar to the one on the PC Doom II cover.Snatch1414 wrote:^ That's really cool. I always picture the classic "space marine with helmet on" cover art but I forgot about the also cool alt artwork above.

Cool stuff. I don't think I was aware of the different cover art for the Saturn version. It's very '90s game magazine ad-ish haha.
Funny side note: I actually read the Doom novelizations when I was a teenager. I think it was a series of four. Don't know if I would feel the same way today, but I remember them being surprisingly good.

When I worked at a middle school I remember kids reading the Halo novelizations haha.
Re: Games Acquired 2013
They're actually pretty decent. The ones written by Eric Nylund. I mean the Halo universe really expanded, but in 2001ish they were actually helpful in explaining the backstory of Halo and the rise of the Spartans. Fall of Reach and First Strike are still worth reading.BoneSnapDeez wrote:When I worked at a middle school I remember kids reading the Halo novelizations haha.

Don't really know much about PC games but for some reason heard they're rising in price and I knew Ultima was a classic so I picked these up. Looks like Ultima might be worth some money? These are sealed if you can't tell.
