Thanks for the input guys. The focus is on US releases only, SF2 CE on MD cover art is so much better though! I love Racketboy you guys caught a lot of the things I did trying to make it complete.
Bruce Lee Story :
I kind of knew this was borderline and of course it was the first one called out! I agree this should be added and must order one straight away!
Rise of the Robots :
Always thought it was on Genesis in the US just like everyone else. Nope.
Streets of Rage 2 :
Best game music ever. Too me it might have that mode but IMO categorized as a beat-m-up.

Yeah, put me up as another person back Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story. I did a similar thing several years ago with SNES fighting games and ended up picking that one up. I'm not as well versed on the Sega Genesis' collection, so to my eyes you already have quite a bit. That said, here's a couple of other games. They may not quite fit your rules for a fighter, but I figure it's worth checking out, just in case.
Beast Wrestler - It's horrendously glitchy and lacks health bars. The focus is also on wrestling. But you did include the King of the Monsters series, so I figured I would suggest it.
Budokan: The Martial Spirit - The game focuses on a tournament. Instead of health, the object of the game is to deplete your opponent's stamina bar.
Oh, and I figure you will count this as a beat 'em up, since it features levels similar to them, but give Mazin Saga a look. The boss fights are done in a VS style you might be interested in.

Looks good to me. I am jealous of your copy of Time Killers, and I wish that game had seen a PS1, Saturn, or SNES port.

Damn the Power Rangers for SNES is a side scroller so I assumed the Genesis version was too, thanks added to the list.
Budokan: The Martial Spirit - I considered this game but its just more of a sports combat game than a fighter IMO. Good call though this was second to Bruce Lee, but I think I'm leaving it out. It also has a VERY ugly box.
Does anyone think I should remove King of the Monsters? I just like the games and felt like they were close enough. Most websites classify them as fighters. My base list has been gamefaqs although I disagree with them sometimes.
As of now I am adding :
Bruce Lee Story
Power Rangers

Keep King of the Monsters.
Re: Every US NTSC Sega Genesis Fighting game?
I opted to keep the King of the Monsters games in my search and picked both up anyway. There's no harm in keeping them (of course, I've since begun striving for a complete collection which has been slowly but steadily growing ever since).gradualmeltdown wrote:Damn the Power Rangers for SNES is a side scroller so I assumed the Genesis version was too, thanks added to the list.
