V-Saturn RG-JX1?

I have the option of picking up one of these, still in the box and with two controllers for $80.

Is it worth it?

I'm curious if there is any limitations with 1MB/4MB carts as I'm looking at the on Racketboy's store.

Also, would RB's modchip work on this model as well?

RAM cart should work. It'll just have a JVC/Victor Video Card already installed & a different BIOS boot.

Certain SS models are easier to install mod chip. No idea on this one, never seen the inside.

$80 boxed isnt bad.

Thanks, did some googling and can't tell if this is a 32pin or 64pin model...
Doubt the store would let me open it and find out. LOL

I got really lucky on my SS consoles. A fellow RB member sold me a MK2 local pickup for $30 & found a MK1 @ a flea market for $30 (ended up being a launch concolse after checking serial number.

Both work great. Enjoy your SS! most underrated system IMO.
