When I originally played this, and even now, I never bothered with the Blue Magic abilities. For all I see how helpful it can be, maybe I'll reconsider next play through.

In previous runthroughs I'd only gotten a few of the support Blue Magic, like Big Guard, for boss fights. The latest run I got every Blue Magic as soon as it was available.

Holy shit, that stuff is overpowered.

Things are going much better for me with the paralogues in FE:A. Just taking it slow and methodical and making sure to line up guys in a way where I'm sure to have better odds!

Replaying Eternal Sonata, it's one of my favorite RPG's and I haven't played since just after it came out. Just grinding a couple of levels before the Captain Dolce boss fight.

I finally, finally pushed through Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door last night...There were things I loved about the game and things that I loathed about it as well. I will write a bit about it in the Summer Gaming Challenge thread.

Just started the Arc the Lad series recently and enjoying it quite thoroughly so far!

Only about 3 hours into the game but I'm enjoying the combat and pace so far.
Also about 25 hours into a FF7 playthrough right now.

I really should finish Ni No Kuni considering I'm like, right at the end. -__-

Arc the Lad 1-2 are essentially one huge game, you get the entire cast back a bit into Arc 2, it's awesome.

1 is only about 10 hours or so, maybe another 5-10 if you do absolutely everything. But 2 is huge (~50+ hours) and really adds a lot, it actually lets you walk around towns/dungeons and such (rare for SRPG's), and so much content. topped off with the monster arena which you could treat as another game in itself.

On the other hand, I pretty much hated 3 because it departed from the first two and the story was so crazy boring. "Check out job postings on the board... take job... plot moves forward... rinse and repeat". lol

Seeing a trend in minor boss battles on the way on FFV Advance, I brought my characters up in less than an hour from level 22 to 25 defeating Black Flames and Stone Golems with the Ramuh summon outside Istory. 500+ gil, 200-350 exp, 2-3 ABP per battle. Helps in all areas.

Finally got through Paralogue 12 to get Gerome. He's kind of lame, I doubt I'll ever use him. I only have two paralogues left and then I'm gonna finish it out. Great game, my first Fire Emblem.
