I also pre-ordered Ghosts. Pretty excited for that.

Throw c4 or stun grenades over them, if they are using tac mask or flak jacket just run from them they move slow. If they are camping hard don't run in and give them the kills, flush them out with flashbangs and explosives, and use emp to destroy their tac inserts and equipment.Opa Opa wrote:Uh... any advice for countering riot shields? I normally don't have this problem but - NO JOKE - during tdm, there were five people on the opposing team with riot shields. FIVE! They all holed up in a building. Launching grenades was pretty much all I could do.

Thanks for the info.ninjainspandex wrote:Throw c4 or stun grenades over them, if they are using tac mask or flak jacket just run from them they move slow. I played the first Modern Warfare a fair bit, and I'm surprised people still use Martyrdom. But then again, I never stayed anywhere long enough to get hit with it. Just keep moving, ducking, and weaving. Here's a couple of builds to try:Opa Opa wrote:I've been playing Modern Warfare 1. I forgot how bad people spam the Martyrdom perk. It's so freakin' annoying. If you're on a large-ish open map then you should be fine but for the most part the maps seem to have a lot of corridors and tight areas. You can't kill but one or two people before they drop an auto-grenade and get a free kill on you.
You know, I don't know why Martyrdom is a problem in this game. Rarely do I ever see someone use Martyrdom in the newer games... maybe it's because the newer titles have better perks.
