CoD/Battlefield discussion thread

Update: Feel free to talk about anything CoD/Battlefield related in the thread.
Thanks for the game suggestions guys!

I've been playing some Modern Warfare 2 as of late. It's fun but really unbalanced- which is probably part of the reason people flock to CoD as they do.

However, I need an alternative to CoD. Something with a healthy online community and with weapons that behave as they should (because there is no excuse a pistol should be as accurate as a sniper rifle). And it needs to be on PS3... 'cause free online... Not a fan of paying for online services when I already pay for internet.

Can anyone help? I don't have a lot of experience in online FPS's. I'm the guy that plays CoD for the campaign. :P

Thanks.

If i did play competitive fps games, id play Battlefield, just seems more "accurate", but the only one i play is CS: Source, just like those crazies who still play CS 1.6 "Classic"

Counter Strike GO is on PS3, and it supports mouse and keyboard, and maybe even Move as well.

I have no clue if Hidden Path and Valve have done a good job keeping it up to date, but, it's only like $10 on PSN for PS+ members.

Of course I'd say to just get the PC version, but, if you want it on console it's there.

I'd second this. Battlefield 3 is really fun multiplayer.

Counter Strike- I've heard of it but never played it. I'll look it up but I watched some gameplay and Battlefield 3 is looking pretty good right now.

If you guys have any other suggestions please bring them up!

Thanks for the titles thusfar!

(or is it "thus far"? The spellchecker says "thusfar" is incorrect. Then again, the spellchecker says "cephalopod" is incorrect. Screw you spellchecker!)

Check out CS: Global Offensive, Battlefield 3 or even MOH: Warfighter. Black Ops 2 is fairly balanced as well but the PS3 version is absolutely HORRENDOUS.

Battlefield: bad company 2

/thread

Or battlefield 3 it's great too.

I actually liked the unbalanced aspect of mw2. Have you tried a class with light weight, marathon, and whatever 3rd perk you pick and only use the akimbo glocks? Awesome good times. The secondary guns are more fun then the primaries IMO.
