Re: Games Acquired 2013
Got some fun stuff this weekend:
Intellivision games: NFL Football, Poker & Blackjack, Advanced D&D, Armor Battle and Star Strike. Not worth much but only $10 for all and I don't have any of these.
Got a Master System missing the video cord but with two controllers and games. HangOn/Safari Hunt, Zaxxon 3-D, Missile Defense 3-D, Shanghai, Carmen San Diego, SpellCaster, Global Defense, and Penguin Land. There is a 3D glasses adapter/input but sadly not glasses. Needed to get one of these though. $10
Mario Lemieux Hockey for the Genesis (game kinda sucks but a fan of the player)
My friend got NFL Blitz and Metropolis Street Racer for Dreamcast for me. I snagged a copy of MvsC2 for Dreamcast for $3, which I was going to sell as I already had one but he only had a burned copy so I gave it to him. Nice find there.

Re: Games Acquired 2013
For whatever reason I've been obsessed with the Master System, Commodore 64, and TurboGrafx-16 this month. I'll post all of my finds towards the end of May.
Re: Games Acquired 2013
I am going out of my head bonkers that I got Revenge of Death Adder. This is a golden era Sega game that I've never played, from when they were in their prime. It's the last of their 2D arcade titles, and it's supposedly extremely long with many branching paths. I'm so fucking excited!
This is the second System 32 game I have. The other - SegaSonic Arcade - isn't really that good of a game. It's more of a novelty, albeit a pretty novelty. Golden Axe: Revenge of Death Adder is pretty much the beefiest System 32 game they made. I'm on a mission to collect a number of Sega's arcade games -- Michael Jackson's Moonwalker is my next target -- but Revenge of Death Adder should keep me entertained for a while.
I've seen these things go for over $300. I got mine with a marquee and manual for just about $200 after shipping.

Sega's System 32 was a fine platform with a lot of classics. The above game is a good example, but Arabian Fight was also a pretty beefy game on the hardware too. Almost similar to Golden Axe there. The Spider-Man beat em up, F1 Exhaust Note, and the Alien 3 and Jurassic Park rail shooters also were on System 32. And let's not forget the first game on the platform, Rad Mobile, which featured a Sonic keychain a year before the game was released!TheSonicRetard wrote:Golden Axe: Revenge of Death Adder is pretty much the beefiest System 32 game they made. I should have clarified that I meant System 32 exclusive games - Rad Mobile, of course, had a Saturn port.ExedExes wrote:Sega's System 32 was a fine platform with a lot of classics. As for the other games - I'm aware of them, but I wouldn't say any of them are as beefy as Golden Axe: RoDA. Arabian Fight and Spider-Man are probably the next two biggest games on the format (SegaSonic is more of a novelty than a game worth playing, as far as I'm concerned). F1 Exhaust note and the other super-scalar-like games on the board probably won't hold my interest for long. Despite that, I don't think any game on the system is quite as console-ready as RoDA. RoDA would have been right at home on any home console - it's a long, lengthy beat 'em up with branching paths that rewards multiple playthroughs. It's got more to offer than just about any other System 32 game.
