RPG Progress Report

Just beat Final Fantasy V Advance this evening. Took me a few tries to beat Neo Ex-Death, but I managed to figure him out.

Up next, either Breath of Fire or Final Fantasy VI Advance.

Going to start on Breath of Fire (GBA) sometime either today or tomorrow.

And in Secret of Evermore, I got through the Dark Forest.

You must be doing some grinding, right? I was around level 21 when I made it to the Earth Crystal.

10 hours into Golden Sun Dark Dawn on DS... it's interesting. Puzzles with magic in dungeon and standard RPG elements.

I have been, yes. It's been so long since I played that original RPGe translation on the SNES, so I don't remember my original levels. I feel 20 is good, and if I encounter any issues, I'll be sure to grind more. But 21 is good for the Earth Crystal? Good to know, hopefully I can burn across a good portion of the game now.

With that, new update. Finished the ship and recovered the first 3 Fire Crystal shards. It was real easy to take the flame boss out with the Time Mage's Gravity -- shaved 1500 HP right off the bat!

Defeated the Verminator in Secret of Evermore after three tries. Hated that boss battle back then, and still hate it now.

Cleared the infamous Temple of Enlightenment in Lost Odyssey. Now I'm trying to find all the seeds... missed 2, UGH. Going for a pretty complete run of the game at this point, just gotta wrap up the Super Heavy Class in the backyard and take down the final boss.

^ I really liked Lost Odyssey, I wish I had finished it.

I'm starting Fire Emblem back up, just had some crazy shiz happen, I'm entering Chapter 13 (or is it 14?) Last level kicked my butt, but I made it through. Luckily I'm playing casual mode, I lost like 6 or 7 dudes.
