Saturn Backup Question

Post by CamaroCam »

So yesterday, I discovered that the Saturn can run backups on a CD-R. I figured out how to do the swap trick perfectly. My question is, how bad is this for my Saturn? Is there a way to do it that doesn't harm the motor? Should I keep doing the swap trick?

Swap disc is rough on your laser & disc drive both.

That's what I figured. To me it's more worth it to wait until I can find more Saturn games than to burn backups. I REALLY want to play the Saturn version of Street Fighter Alpha 2. And I miss playing Sonic R. But I'm not willing to sacrifice my console. Thanks for the info.
