Is there a list of Sega CD cardboard boxes?

Post by noiseredux »

So yesterday I found a copy of Marky Mark Make My Video, which was the first cardboard box game for my SCD collection. (Not counting the 'blue box' Night Trap, which came in a different cardboard case...) This got me thinking... is there a list somewhere of all the ones that came that way? My guess is it's mostly the earlier releases, right? But I'd be interested to see a full list.

Try here although. I've seen several released in both such as Rise of the dragon.

There are a ton of Genny cardboard boxes. Late Genesis titles & early SCD titles came in these.

Edit: Broken Link & thought u said Mickey Mania not the Mark Wahlberg game... at least he made Entourage lol.

damn some had both boxes? Nevermind collecting cardboard sub-set then. I already have Rise of the Dragon in a regular case.

These box variations are yet another thing that makes Sega CD collecting expensive. I know the Jaguar racing game is difficult to find CIB in really good shape. Then you have the Working Designs variations lol. I just "collect" casually for the system when I find good deals bc of this.

well I'm a collector, but I don't care about variations. IE: I don't need Sonic CD longbox and Sonic CD Not For Resale versions. Just one of them.
