Thanks dude.ott0bot wrote:Moving from BC???!!! Wow that must be hard, I really liked Vancouver both times I visited. And I don't care about legal pot thing, just cool pubs and great culture. Beautiful place. How is Ottawa I've never been there?
Also, I think having some decent video games in the teachers lounge would be great, but some people get really competative so you may want something fairly easy to learn. I haven't played either of the games you mentioned....so maybe they fit the bill. Maybe some two/four player beat-em ups or shmups. Something with co-op rather than versus? A Neo MVS se-up would be awesome.
Good luck man, that souds like a good oportunity.
I'm not sure why you think I'm in BC...I did live there for a few years but I've been living near Toronto for the past 2 years. And the "legal pot thing"??? Pot isn't legal, except for medicinal purposes. Having a very small amount (less than 1g) in your pocket MIGHT not get you busted, but the cop is fully allowed to charge you with a criminal offense (although not as serious an offense as it is down south).
Ottawa is beautiful, although very cold in the winter. Lots of culture, and not too big. Pretty close to Montreal, too.
I was sort of joking about having cabs in the lounge...I don't want them to think I'm insane...yet. I mentioned those two in particular just because they are newer games that I haven't played but am desperate to try. Arcana Heart 2 is (of course) the sequel to the great Arcana Heart fighting game by the people who make Guilty Gear. Death Smiles is one of the latest Cave games. Not exactly "casual" games, I suppose!
