I don't usually like to talk about my professional life, but this time I will. I know most people don't care what I'm doing (and I don't blame you); but it is important to me and maybe some might find it interesting.
I'm a classical pianist, but I have been somewhat retired for almost a year...enjoying a more private life. But, I've been offered a teaching position at a university and so I will be once again mixing it up in the "wild world" of classical music. I have always enjoyed teaching over performing, and I will be glad to have a small group of students under my control.
Do you think I could put Arcana Heart 2 and Death Smiles cabinets in the faculty lounge? I'd love to take on the other academics, but I would probably be the only one feeding the machines.
Also, after my "retirement" concert this past year, I decided I would never play in public again. But, I do miss it a little bit and I will probably begin training once again for some new concerts this year.
Thanks for reading!

Thanks, everybody. I've taken the job at Carleton University which is in Ottawa (the capital of Canada, for those who might not know!).
It is an interesting program there for the students as they have exposure to all sorts of jazz and world music besides the classical stuff. From what I can tell, they've been trying to hire young teachers who are able to provide a more unique experience for the students, rather than just a standard "pianist factory" style of school.

Moving from BC???!!! Wow that must be hard, I really liked Vancouver both times I visited. And I don't care about legal pot thing, just cool pubs and great culture. Beautiful place. How is Ottawa I've never been there?
Also, I think having some decent video games in the teachers lounge would be great, but some people get really competative so you may want something fairly easy to learn. I haven't played either of the games you mentioned....so maybe they fit the bill. Maybe some two/four player beat-em ups or shmups. Something with co-op rather than versus? A Neo MVS se-up would be awesome.
Good luck man, that souds like a good oportunity.
