Going to pick this up today. PC or PS3? \

I would have never considered PC before, but Skyrim is so much better on my my mediocre laptop than my PS3! And I used both on the same TV, with a controller. :) Graphics look much nicer, game isn't BROKEN (major PS3 issue), and loading times are quicker.

Edit: Nevermind. Seems to be download only on PC. Bummer.

Edit: Or maybe I will import the PAL release! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sonic-Generatio ... 202wt_1270

Why didn't that come out here in the US? D:

The PC version isn't worth it unless you have at least a high end dual core and no AMD parts. My mid range AMD Dual core system chugs hard on Sonic Generations, it's the first game I've tried that didn't run perfectly and much better than the 360 version. Hopefully they will patch it later, but as of right now I have the game running at 640x480 with all settings set to low or off and it still drops below 20FPS at times.

Hmmm. I've got an AMD A8-3500M (low end quad core but no hyper threading), Radeon 6620G, and 6GB RAM. I can run Skyrim quite smoothly on high settings (with AA turned off) at 1080p.

I can overclock the quad core to about 2.4GHz without any overheating or stability issues. Not sure if it's worth a shot. Perhaps I'll just go for the PS3 version.

Edit: Did a little reading on PC forums. Seems that it may be a rather poor port especially if you don't have a higher end machine.

I've had no problems with the PC port other than a little bit of lag on the second zone - it runs beautifully.

Just bought this on PS 3, I'm going to have a nice, platform heavy holiday with this, Rayman Origins and Super Mario 3d Land

I think a lot of people are excited about the 2D stages, which look great from what I've seen, but you gotta give it up for some of the 3D levels too. This level looks awesome and kind of pushed me to finally buy this. I already loved this stage in Sonic Adventure 2, and it looks even better. You just can't get this kind of speed in any other platformer

I'm really excited to play this. Hopefully it's under my tree right now. There's a few PS3-sized gifts with my name on them. :)

I just bought this on steam. It crashes on the loading screen after the first cutscene...
And I haven't found anyone with a similar problem. Fun times ahead tinkering with things :S

Edit: And now steam is downloading some kind of update. Why didn't I get this 20 mins ago when I finished downloading the game? This better fix it.
