Typing of the Dead is a very good game, there is a PC version as well. I crap out on it, hunt and peck fingers.noiseredux wrote:though I won't have my DC until next week, I figure I'll start mentioning the games I'm most interested in...
Typing of the Dead - is a dream come true for me. It was always the #1 game on my "why isn't it on a system I own?!?!?!?!" list. I love HotD. I can type really fast. It's weird. I'm thrilled.
You can get an adaptor to use a regular PC keyboard and Mouse. The advantage is a bigger selection of keyboards and using a trakball or a sensor mouse instead of the Sega ball mouse.
Other unusual controller games
Samba De Amigo with Maraca Controllers. The Fishing Controller works well for fishing games, literally cast the "motion control" line. Your earlier mention of Seaman, Leonard Nimoy narrates, use a mic to teach the creepy "Sim" fish. All kinds of Lightgun games, any of the Lightguns work fine, even the official one. Strange that I got the official Sega Lightgun to work with House of the Dead on my VGA CRT monitor.

Tons of emulators. Arcades for WowMame and Neo Geo, SNES, Genesis, Gameboy, and Atari 2600.
Not sure if you read my reviews I posted earlier, two very good games:
Wild Metal (Country) Dreamcast and PC exclusive (Freeware Download).

Toy Commander Dreamcast only release.

Another game is Alien Front Online exclusive to the Dreamcast. No online, but great single player modes. Love strafing with a tank!
