Re: Multi-ship shmup?
I played it a bunch back when it was new at the mall arcade where I grew up, but have never seen a cab of it since. The arcade game is unlockable on the PS2 Sega Genesis collection. Admittedly I haven't unlocked it yet though.Blurz wrote:Any ports of this other than the atari one? Never seen it in arcades, and probably never will...Hobie-wan wrote:Tac Scan.

Re: Multi-ship shmup?
Matthew Doucette posts on these forums sometimes. He created Duality ZF, which does exactly what you are talking about. He'd be a good person to chat with about this.Blurz wrote:Yup, I be a noob. I was going to try my hand at creating a short shmup for my amusement, and was wondering if anyone here knows of a game where you can control 2 ships at one time? I'm fully aware of power ups in some games which can sort of fall in this category, but I'm wondering if there is one where the gameplay relies on this sort of control. Thank you.
