Have any 8/16 Bit Sports Games Aged Well?

Anything that is gaming related that doesn't fit well anywhere else

I wouldn't say they "hold up", but I definately enjoy popping in:
Double Dribble
10-Yard Fight
NES Play Action Football

If nothing else for the memories they bring back. From hold-up value, I think all the tecmo games are still great fun and with exception of maybe graphics, would much rather play them over Madden/NFL2K type of stuff.

(Super) Baseball Simulator 1.000
Baseball 2020
Extra Innings (and its spiritual successor, Baseball Stars on the NGPC)

And as 7k said, Kunio sports game. (Soccer, Dodgeball, V-Ball, B_ball, Hockey RPG...) There was also those Tsubasa Soccer RPGs, but the AI in later stages can get sticky without heavy grinding...

My scheduling skills have died of dysentery; I hope to visit at least on a monthly basis.
Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.

I no its not really a "sports" game, but its hella fun! Boot throwing, pogo sticking, pizza carrying.... its a classic!
Cool! I bought that game complete with box a few months back just because I love all things Snoopy, but I haven't gotten around to playing it yet.

Technically it's 24 bit, but Baseball Stars 2 for the Neo Geo is pretty good.
Also do fictional sports games count? Ballblazer is pretty awesome as is Windjammers.

I remember liking World Series Baseball. I should play that because Chicago Cubs baseball starts this weekend :D (though by the end my face will probably look like this  )
NES, SNES, PS1, N64, DC, PS2, GCN, Wii, PS3, 360, GB, GBC, GBA, GBA SP, PSP 3000, and 3DS XL

Hot damn! I'm going to have to call in sick to work and play retro sports games all day. Thanks for all the recommendations, Rackateers.
I run the 8/16-bit retro site TimeWarpGamer and if you want to follow the latest updates, check me out on Twitter.

I was always partial to Andre Panza Kickboxing on TG16. I might be the only person who likes that game.
