The actual question that Cuse and Lindelof were asked regarding the finale was whether it would be heartwarming or heartwrenching. They said neither. They were going for heart-stopping.

That is what has kept my hopes up too.

The deaths of major characters is what got me into the show in the beginning. I am glad they are starting that back up. Next week I bet they will just pussyfoot around again leaving us with too much to answer in two hours.

I like how lost kills the characters

I am tired of watching cartoons/shows/movies that follow same exact formula.
Lost surprises you with deaths, its like when Travolta dies early in pulp fiction ...
I like this stuff, because you never saw it coming=more exciting

holy shit. i just read the finale, which is on a sunday the 23rd for some reason, is going to be a five-and-a-half hour LOST extravaganza - 7 to 11:30. 7-9 is a retrospective and 10-11:30 is the finale.
if you took a shit, please put it back

Im so watching it, probably start at around 830 so Ill catch the finale as it starts - from 10 on though, no contact to or from my house.

The actual finale is two and a half hours long. That's been confirmed for some time now
