Awesome! I never even thought to look for a free Photoshop alternative. I've just been using MS Paint all these years.

Ive hd the best luck with paint.net. I could never get used to the interface in gimp. But still when it comes down to it, if you really need photoshop there's no good alternative. i don't think I could get by to easily without it.

Gimp never really clicked with me i guess its just the layout, i also heard good things about Paint.Net

Gah, I hate the layout, too. Does having it in three windows bother you too?

Don't forget you can get a photoshop style layout version of TheGimp called Gimpshop.
