I feel so naked over here in Windows... I will admit though, my sound card sounds a LOT better over here. Cause auzentech actually releases fucking drivers for windows. GRRRRRRRRR.

Got my new legite Windows 7 Pro running now. Gonna play with it a bit (see how Media Center treats my hauppauge card notably) then pass the hell out.

There is a power toy for windows to enable spaces, however I have no idea if it works in vista or 7. I haven't bothered. It's something that seriously needs to be made into windows. On my linux and mac systems I use desktops/spaces all the time. It's so convenient for multitasking.

I can't download my copy of Windows 7 Pro. The servers are down. Been down since yesterday.

You sure? If you're checking Windows info, its going to tell you about the OS, not the processor. Use something like SiW to check. For SiW, just download the free standalone one, run it, then click CPU info on the left. It will tell you whether your processor is 64 bit or not at teh very top on the right. Its an otherwise useful too too.

That's right. x86 means 32-bit. I don't know if the Premium upgrade will have dual install options, however, if you're trying to move from 32-bit to 64-bit you will have to do a format.

Actually there is a 'Starter' and 'Home Basic' version.
