What's strange is it will stay logged in for ~24 hours, then act up again ...

Been on Android since near inception. For the first time, trying the Samsung browser :? after reading previously someone was having issues with Chrome. We'll see how it goes! Remember me seemed to work upon login.

The board is asking me to log back in every time I reply or post. And there's been discussion in the Slack and Discord of other folks experiencing the frequent logout problem who didn't before. There's definitely something that still isn't right with the board and it's ability to track sessions.

I'm seeing a new problem as of a couple days ago. When selecting Unread posts under Quick links, if I clicked the little red file icon beside a topic it used to take me to the first unread post, but now it's merely taking me to the page containing the first unread post and leaving me parked at the top of the page so I have to scroll down to it. This is new behavior and I'm not a fan.

I shared this info with marurun privately, but figured I should share here as well:

In regards to the Unread posts issue he mentioned, nothing has changed on the code, so I'm surprised by that particular behavior.
The only thing that should be in flux is sessions as I need to manually clear those out periodically until I get somebody to resolve the cron job to function properly to automate it the standard way.

Lately, I've been on the road, but have been trying to keep an eye on the CPU load and doing that manual SQL table maintenance. Now that I'm settled back home, I hope to start interviewing a couple server admin to help me weed out some issues.

thanks for your patience!

OK, wow, the logouts are massive right now. Every time I click a new function I'm logged out and have to log back in. I don't think I've ever personally experienced this quite as bad as it is now for me, but I suspect others have already had this experience.

I actually have been surprised that it keeps me logged in as much as it has.
Can anyone else chime in?

Edit: I use Safari -- what's everyone else use?

I logged in and let the tab sit idle for around ten minutes while I did other stuff. I'm still logged in it seems. I clicked the "remember me" box when I signed in. Using firefox at the moment.

I have much better results on mobile Safari vs the Chromium-based Opera I use when I'm at work.

Login persistence has been a lot better this week. If anything changed, good work.
