Titles of Interest Before XB 360 Market Closure

I haven't had time to fully dig through them but Bionic Commando Rearmed & Resident Evil titles jumped out on initial quick scan.

I recently picked up a phyiscal copy of Singularity. Great choice. That one keeps getting suspected as a future add to BC program with Activision acquisition.

The crappy thing about the Resident Evil titles (I'm guessing REmake, RE0, and RE4 -- at least for me), is that they are the same exact games found the ont he Xbox One, but instead of maying the 360 games BC, they decided to re-release them.

I got them on the 360 years ago before I even thought about getting an Xbox One. My dumbass bought them again last year when all of them were on sale. So I guess I'm the sucker...

On a different note: with all of the games I own digitally, and all of the DLC I own for the physical games, I am about 75% away from filling up a 1TB HDD. That's a lot of crap! 1TB is small by today's standards but 500GB was massive back then (the drive I have in the 360 now). Thankfully, the 360 supports up to 2TB external drives.

I picked up Singularity.

Edit: One piece of DLC that will go away is the expansion pass for Space Invaders Extreme. $2.99 gets you three new stages and bosses, as well as an emulated version of the original Space Invaders and Space Invaders 2.

I bought Remember Me, HoMaMDM, Darkstalkers, ResEvil 4, DMC collection. Haven't played them yet.

I suggest if you like Street Fighter or FGs in general, buying the Capcom titles like SF3rd Strike and SF2 HDR.

Wanted to point out, I had my month wrong in OP (now fixed). The marketplace is shutting down July 29th, not June. Reportedly, a 3rd round of sales are planned for 7/16.

The 360 version of Gun is surprisingly hard to find, so happy to see this on sale. I've actually never seen it in person (vs OG XB & PS2 versions).

Alien Breed trilogy didn't get a physical release Stateside. If you didn't know, this is a modern take on the Amiga series.

I am keeping an eye out for the final round of sales. Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate has my attention already (75% off now):

I picked up Red Faction Guerrilla for 99 cents. Already had the single player expansion so that was a no brainer.

Even though I already had Far Cry 4 on the One, for $5.99 I double dipped on the 360. I had all of the DLC since my first time playing it was on the 360 in physical form, I got the digital version because I don’t have the disc handy anymore and it’s my favorite Far Cry game. It’s dumb but whatevs!

All I have left on my list at the moment is Eternal Sonata, the Riddick game, and the first Sonic racing game.

The 360 doesn’t have a wish list system. However, you can go to the game you want to buy and pin it. On the first tab you can access you pins this quickly getting to the game you want to buy.

Good call on Riddick! Always enjoyed Pitch Black movie. The physical version of this game is interesting because it includes both Assault on Dark Athena for the 360 & the OG XB original game, Escape from Butcher Bay, on 1 disc. Here is the digital listing:

Not super clear if it includes both titles, but I do see "Escape from Butcher Bay Commentary" as free DLC so ... assuming so?

Ahhh the pins. I had fun re-exploring my old pins last week. The search function on the 360 isn't the best so this is helpful once you actually find a title of interest.

From what I can see, it does include both games. Apparently the first game is just part of the overall story.

I’ll have to find out when the third sale comes out. If it isn’t on sale, I’ll still pick it up.

Side note: there are currently seven Xbox 360 games that are free and is backwards compatible with the One
