Merry Christmas gents. Have been really busy with family & work life but dropping in to say hello.

Was smiling watching kiddo play Pokémon Scarlet today. Know it got a lot of flack for performance on the aging mobile chip set... through children on Christmas viewpoint... no issues lol.

... my blinking NES sprites say hello from 30 years ago 8)

:? So my phone won't charge if I plug it in UNLESS I reboot it. I tried everything else, including a factory reset, which was SO much fun. I first I thought that fixed it because it showed that it was charging, but then when I came back from work and put it back on the charger... NOTHING! So then I kept the charging cable plugged in and rebooted it. And now it's charging.

I guess it'll only charge if it's plugged in and I reset or shut it off?

How old is the phone? You may have wear and tear on the port itself. If you have some compressed air, I recommend cleaning it out as a first step. You may also try flipping your cable upside down or swapping ends, as finicky ports can be...particular.

I got it back in June. And it doesn't seem to be an issue with the port itself, since like I said it CAN charge if it's attached to the cable while rebooting. But if I unplug it and plug it back in, it won't register as charging. And according to Ampere, an app I heard about while looking for a solution, it says it's plugged into an AC charger but its status says "not charging".

UPDATE: it's definitely a software issue. Shut it off completely and it charged fine. Now, it won't charge while it's on even if I reboot it, so I'm definitely leaning towards it being a software issue.

UPDATE: While it's on the charger while powered on, the phone does not seem to be discharging power. After about 5-10 minutes it's still at the same power percentage.

UPDATE: It's gone from 54% to 57%, so it seems to be recharging slowly, despite Ampere saying it's "not charging".

I got my grandma to smoke weed for the first time over Christmas. She has bad arthritis and tried it for that and loved it.

While we were smoking outside I found out my great grandma used to roll with Sonny Barger which was kind of crazy. There was a chance I would have been born into a biker family for a while

I do wanna smoke weed again, especially edibles, but I got this weird thing where if one thing goes wrong then I'm completely suicidal for weeks. It is super bad for my mental illnesses which might be why. Honestly, maybe a tiny amount of edibles might work? Just enough for a body sort of high where you feel chill.

Try something else like CBD, CBG, Delta 8, etc.

:D Decided to splurge on a Retroid Pocket 3+, though while $150 sounds like along (even without the $10 carrying case, $5 screen protector or shipping and taxes), since they accept PayPal I decided to use their Pay in 4 option. Basically every two weeks starting yesterday (meaning a day or so after getting paid from Food Lion), I just have to drop down $46.75.' I used the Pay in 4 option a while back to snag Sonic Frontiers from Gamestop (it's not the best 3D Sonic but thankfully not the worst) and managed to pay it off early.

And this thing looks fucking BOSS!! Decent PSP and Dreamcast emulation, on average passable PS2/GameCube emulation, built-in keymapper, decent Android performance, HDMI output and Bluetooth support.

I also bought a phantom power device for my microphone.

And before anyone asks... last week, Food Lion gave me a total of 24 hours of holiday pay.
