Was gonna say Silent Hill, but then I remembered it's coal ashes. Still reminds me of Christmas.
About Ski Free, The latest official version off the official homepage works on all Windows machines.

I didn't realize there was another version of Ski Free that works on modern machines. That's awesome! I'm on a Mac nowadays, but this is good to know -- would like to try it out sometime.

The World Is Not Enough has the level "Cold Reception," which follows the part in the movie where they're getting chased down a mountain while skiing.

It's been years, and I've only played it once, but I can remember getting to Phendrana Drifts in Metroid Prime for the first time. It was just an awesome landscape to stumble upon.

Xenoblade Chronicles has the Valak Mountain area.






Final Fantasy XII has a snowy mountain area as well, but I don't recall the name of it.

Dust: An Elysian Tail has a pretty nice snow area.

Probably because I'm playing it right now (for the first time), but Breath of the Wild's snowscapes are breathtaking.

Halo 5 just ended their holiday playlist where they take normal multiplayer maps, but add snow & even Christmas lights in some. I think I took some screenshots I can pull off my XB1.

Strider has a snow level. I know there's like a zillion ports of this game, including the original arcade game. Is it snowing in any of the ports? Or is it just a level with snow on the ground?

I completely forgot about that thread! There's definitely some good snow/ice examples in there, as well as games that have something Christmas going on.
