Heh, the worst part about super reflective screens is seeing your own dumb ass, Dorito covered, mug reflected at you when playing a game and the screen goes black. :D

Hey, some of us manage to keep the Doritos off our asses, and our asses off our faces. Or something. I think a hyphen got lost somewhere...

My gameroom has blackout curtains & I'm an all lights off when gaming or watching a movie guy. So I'm not a good litmus test on the lighting/glare.

It's my understanding the gaming mode turns off all post processing, 120Hz CMI including. That's how they achieve the really low latency. CNET listed it as one of the top 5 gaming TV of 2019 based on the input lag, or near lack thereof.

I'm playing Halo 5 in fast moving multilayer, and it looks extremely crisp. No blurring, etc. I'm on a One S so my TV is seeing 2160p although the console is upscaling the native 1080p to 4K (at 60Hz).

I'm genuinely glad you are happy with it. It's been a while since I've been with any TV. I love cheap ones these days because i can live with more flaws than if i bought top tier screen. Even those have major flaws. Stings more when the TV is over 1k. Just look up OLED near black banding.. ugghghghg. I'd try a 4 series out if it was easy to return like pre c19 days. Hate having to line up at best buy.

If you do not know what dirty screen effect is, do NOT look it up and do not try to find it on your TV. TCL is known for having it bad, and once you see you cannot unsee. One of my 32in monitors has a mild case of it, and its all i see when playing old (NES/SNES) games on it. I'm pretty picky about screens though. The monitor i am typing on now i bought 3 of knowing i was going to keep only the best one out of them. Felt like kind of an asshole doing it, but then i realized its not my fault PC monitor manufactures have extremely poor QC. Kinda sucks knowing every flaw LCDs have, and how to spot them easily.. wish i could unlearn. Ignorance really would be bliss (for me) in the world of displays. :D
