Do You Have Any Unpopular Gaming Opinions?
Re: Do You Have Any Unpopular Gaming Opinions?
I used to actually be really good with the NES Advantage and Turbo Stick. In my high school days I would sit slouched in a chair with the joystick base pressed up against my belly so I was basically using it up where one is supposed to hold a guitar.

Some good wii fps shooters are:o.pwuaioc wrote:Do you have recommendations? The only one I played was GoldenEye, and I only used the classic controller for it.prfsnl_gmr wrote:+1
I think the Wii was underutilized for FPS games. It may not have been able to match its competitors graphically, but the control schemes in Wii shooters is, IMO, really good.
Goldeneye
Quantum of solace
Red Steel 2
Conduit 1 and 2
Metroid Prime trilogy (more of an adventure game than a fps but functionally the same)
Call of Duty modern warfare reflex edition
there are also countless good light gun shooters on the wii, and a host of games that are not necessarily first person shooters but use the wii mote aiming to a really good degree (stuff like resident evil 4 wii edition, pandoras tower, silent hill shattered memories)
@presidentlever: Can you give an example of a game that fits that description that would anger some random internet person?

Quantum of Solace was surprisingly good, and a large chunk of the game is actually Casino Royale which is great.

Popularity is an illusion in the modern age, due to us not having any real community on which to base the idea of consensus.
Therefore, whatever purports to be popular is only posting the biggest numbers (which probably aren't legitimate, since books are getting cooked all over the place these days too).
We live in a manufactured age, where everything we see is simply what we are meant to see by those who sit behind giant amounts of insulation from it all.
It used to be, popularity was determined by butts in seats at a live show. Camera footage was harder to edit into a fakery. Video Games were popular because of the piles and piles of quarters, and the long lines at arcades.
Now? There's a big number next to the youtube video announcing a game, therefore it is popular. Simple as that.

Maybe legalizing weed wasn't such a good idea.

Halo 5 campaign is just fine. It's a better game than H4.
I definitely think that for *most* people, weed isn't great for productivity. Obviously some people in creative spaces can potentially benefit from it... art, writing, comedy, film, etc. I'm excluding pain mgmt. Super random all around lol.Sload Soap wrote:Maybe legalizing weed wasn't such a good idea.

Have you played generations or colors? As a general rule I tend to dislike sonic games but those 2 were both pretty fun.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Dudes I finally found a Sonic game I really really like.

Looks like I slept on Generations. I must have thought it was 3D? There are too many Sonic games.
I do have both episodes (ugh) of Sonic 4 via Steam, but have yet to touch it.
