Sega Saturn Mayflash Adapter
Just got a Mayflash adapter in the mail and it's been kinda finnicky in working on different games + steam big picture. Does anyone know some programs that might help it be recognized more consistently? Anyone have steam big picture controller configurations for it as well? Thanks!

It's the Saturn specific Mayflash adapter with 2 saturn ports. It's kind of finicky in how it's recognized.

Got it. Controller to PC adapter. Mayflash also makes video adapters.

Apparently plugging it into a USB 3.0 port fixes a lot of issues, will test that tonightJagosaurus wrote:Got it. Controller to PC adapter. Mayflash also makes video adapters.

Re: Sega Saturn Mayflash Adapter
OK, So I have it working in the USB 3.0 port, both controllers recognized. Now I'm using retroarch and can't figure out how to set the controls up to recognize the controller as a 6 button pad. I have 4 buttons set properly but cant figure out what to do about C,Z. Im using retroarch on a pc. 5$ paypal if anyone can help me fix it, no joke.
Edit: Decided to try it on fusion instead of retroarch and its working now. The issue is the saturn controllers like to double input on the adapter i think, so you have to extremely carefully map the inputs on the dpad or its fucked. Seems like i fixed it though.

Me too! I'm spending the night downloading fullsets of roms for most systems- I'm about to have the emulation set up I've wanted since I was a little kid. Growing up and having money is cool.Jagosaurus wrote:I'm a huge Fusion/KEGA fan. Glad it's working for you man.
