The point of remaking a game is to let the later generations play a classic game that they otherwise wouldn't have right? Being 16 years old their are many old games that have been remade that I never would have had a chance to play if it wasn't for remakes. Chrono Trigger anyone? How bout Dungeon Explorer: Warriors of Ancient Arts? Or Revelations: Persona. It hasn't yet been completed but a confirmed remake is in the works.
Those are just a few good examples of games that I(And many others around my general age) wouldn't be able to play if it wasn't for remakes!
dude- i'm 27 and i still miss games. Silent hill series... oops! sorry! It is the nature of the industry. They save a huge amount of AAA titles for Christmas. I usually get to play about half of them, and if i'm not on it i just outright forget about the other half. Sucks- but i ain't got all day to play games dag nabit.
