I fixed that yesterday. You must be caching the old stylesheet. Hold shift and hit refresh.

Just went through all of the old forum styles and put max-width and max-height on the avatars. Old styles display avatars at 80x80, Racketboy v3 style displays them up to 160x160.

If the 160x160 is the max size, perhaps that should also be the limit for creating an avatar? This will save on band width, especially for a page of replies of animated 320x320 avatar gifs larger files reduced to the 160x160 or 80x80.

Thank you for leaving the older themes auto size to 80x80. This keeps the focus on the reply and not the avatar. I use the avatar just for a quick identify of member, no need for a large graphic wasting text space. Hint-Avatar changes confusing me!

 For older themes such as Gloss Blue, to reduce the black bars at the sides of the forum (more noticeable on widescreens) simply hold CTRL and roll the scroll wheel to zoom the screen. Once set, the forum will remember the view preference. I think the themes were tailored for 4:3 screens which is fine, it keeps the forum loads quicker due to smaller default screen width. Also more sensible screen for all us aged retro gamers that use 4:3 monitors!

I got to reading a section of the site on the iphone5s I have and it looks and behaves the same so I'm quite impressed. I hated that old loathsome setup that was there and it's gone so anything to complain about now, at least for me, would almost seem petty it's that nice.

OK, noticing something annoying on the new theme that occurs both in desktop and phone arrangements. When you click the link for Newest Unread Post, it is setting the top of that post to the top of the screen, but the RacketBoy header bar covers the top of it. Here's an example using the desktop-width view. Notice that the very top of the message is hidden under the floating banner.

Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do about that, aside from having the header scroll instead of being fixed. That decision is up to racketboy.
