Critics panned it for the Batgirl addition, but I really enjoyed it.REPO Man wrote:Batman: The Killing Joke.

Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
I turned a guy I work with onto DVD/BD ripping with makeMKV. I did it mostly for backing up my personal collection & to have copies of ~100 DVDS I sold. I created a bit of a monster though
. He now goes to redbox fairly often, rents the newer movies, rips them, then gives me the DRM free .mkv files. I'm not complaining! Nice to know they're clean files, not from torrents. It only cost me about 20 cents of HDD space to store a DVD quality title with no compression.
He recently gave me The Killing Joke & Ex Machinima. I'll have to check them out based on those recommendations.
@Strange, it looks hilarious from the previews. I thought The Man Behind the Mask was gold. This looks up that alley with more over the top dark humor.
Well.... just saw these on Netflix. Adding to the list:
- It Follows (never saw it)
- Stake Land II (loved the first)
- Zombeavers (oh yeah!)
- V/H/S Viral (why not)
... I can't put these & Hush off until October. Nothing wrong with a little summer horror.

Couldn't agree more. The mark of a good movie is when you keep thinking of it. I can't get it out my head. I have so many questions, then I answer them after thinking... but then have more! Great movie. For any one interested in space travel, the universe, time travel, space mysteries, etc it is a MUST WATCH.Xeogred wrote:

Well this looks like another one I need to pick up and watch. You guys got me spending more money on scifi movies than games.
Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
Yes. And let me just say that I'm not huge on Nolan or anything, or even Hans Zimmer in some cases... but Interstellar was perfection. Top caliber Blade Runner level stuff for me and I can't wait to rewatch it many times over. I don't even want to say anything. I thought it was going to be a simple space Apollo mission movie or something. Wow, it went way deeper in the greatest ways ever and dealt with many concepts I find fascinating. Sublime movie.

Yep... this was incredible. Add it to the list strangenova, lol.
Not quite Interstellar level for me, but still amazing stuff that touches on some very interesting topics and concerns.

Ex Machina does so much with so little. There was some really excellent filmmaking going on there.

I'm laughing how Nathan is somehow Poe from The Force Awakens.
