Well, Prometheus 2 is what I was expecting from it since... the end of Prometheus. So maybe I wont' be disappointed haha.

From what I can tell, the people the really enjoyed Prometheus are liking Covenant. Those of us that didn't care for Prometheus are hating Covenant. At least that's how it seems so far to me.

Saw Alien: Covenant today and dug it, though it is a slow starter. I'd rank it as the Best Alien-titled movie since Aliens, so that's something.
Of course, I also really dug Prometheus (except the last half hour or so...). I'd put this one on par (or maybe slightly better than) that one.

While this isn't a popular opinion, I only like Aliens marginally better than Prometheus. It's close. Not a knock on Aliens, the slow pace Prometheus is just more my style over the James C action flick.
I have a toddler & a 3 week old, but I'm going to find a way to go, even if I see it @ a 11p showing this weekend. One of those I want to experience on the big screen with an ICEE.

Just got back from seeing AC. I enjoyed it.
I also enjoyed Prometheus. I'm looking forward to the next entry.
