In other news, I somehow, someway actually managed to get a pretty decent haul at the local game store. They were having a big sale on some older systems, and I picked up the following:

I've tried all but the PS2 games, and I'll need to take Advent Rising back for a resurface, couldn't wait at the time and took the chance. They're supposed to give it to me free since I couldn't wait. All told, that ran me $54.04. Not bad at all!

After that, went by the local Dirt Cheap, and they had the Diablo II Battle Chest for a whopping $4. Whee!

I picked up Drakan on PS2 last year based on a recommendation from a huge RPG fan. Looks very interesting. In the backlog but high up. Let me know how it is!

Has to be better than the Chronicles of Pern game on Dreamcast .

Haha, yeah, probably. I actually owned a copy already, but this one is complete, and for $3 I figured why not?

Also, I ordered Trails of Cold Steel II. And it's a good thing I did! I had a $5 certificate expiring in four days on Best Buy, and another from buying the TV. GCU knocks $8 off, and I used a gift card that was given for my birthday, and it only dinged it for around $23. Sweet!

The next thing that gift card money is going towards? Dragon. Quest. VII. Can't wait.
