Re: Early Morning Crew
My wife is back at work so I now wake up when my youngest daughter does. Which is apparently 6......
Re: Early Morning Crew
Lately I'm trying to get up at 5am everyday. I have a weird early shift on Saturday and that's when I get up, but I'd like to make that the normal for the week so I can work out more in the morning again.
The past few weekends or days off I've been "sleeping in" getting up a little before 7am.
Very weird, but I like it. I get so much done in the morning and enjoy sunlight thesedays.

Re: Early Morning Crew
Woke up at 3:30 am, but I hit the snooze button and "slept in" until 3:40 am. What a slacker!
Edit: There is no coffee at work.
Woe be unto he who keeps me from the warm embrace of coffee.

I bet you would like coffee even more if you tried drinking it instead of hugging it.samsonlonghair wrote:Edit: There is no coffee at work.Woe be unto he who keeps me from the warm embrace of coffee.

I'm just going to skip straight to shooting up caffeine in the veins between my toes. Gotta get my fix somehow or other.marurun wrote:I bet you would like coffee even more if you tried drinking it instead of hugging it.samsonlonghair wrote:Edit: There is no coffee at work.Woe be unto he who keeps me from the warm embrace of coffee.

Re: Early Morning Crew
I bring my own coffee to work, because my place of employment cannot be trusted to provide it consistently.

Re: Early Morning Crew
So there's the rub. My place of employment provides coffee 97% of the time. It's that three percent that makes me question the value of my coworkers physical well being.
Re: Early Morning Crew
Yep. I bring my own coffee, and also have my own coffee pot. Of course, I've cut back on my caffeine significantly, so I only drink it in the morning... but I need it in the morning.Exhuminator wrote:I bring my own coffee to work, because my place of employment cannot be trusted to provide it consistently.

I've been a 5:50a guy lately. Even last Saturday I was mowing grass at 6:15a! Only way to avoid the Texas heat. My kiddo amazing sleeps 11 hours now which allows me to sleep much harder for 7 hours or so.
Re: coffee
I work at tech/telecom/data company so it's pretty much what you'd picture in a movie... phones ringing, customers in demo room, technicians in and out, programming at terminals, always a pot of coffee on, way too many people wishing they were on a smoke break with cigarettes close by (not me on that last one). Caffeine and nicotine (unfortunately on the last one again) fueling it all. It's pretty funny how it fits the stereotypical image. If the coffee approaches empty, there's a panic. We buy the giant coffee "cans" from a restaurant distribution store
I slowly drink a large mug on my in while podcasting. Makes my day
Community Coffee out of Louisiana is my choice.
