I've been considering diving further into PS1 collecting and I've been really enjoying the PSX port of Ultimate Doom. This lead me to picking up a PSX FPS I've had my eye on for a few years. This one looks like it has style versus being "just a doom clone" and was developed by Isomniac  their first game.

2016 YTD Pickups:
- Disruptor (CIB, PSX)
I checked out the PSX version of Doom myself recently, it's definitely pretty cool. Just wish you could turn faster or retool the controls a little more.
Ive been really impressed too. Not sure if you've played any other console ports but the PSX port blows them away visually & framerate-wise. It includes the 3 monsters previously ommitted, and even 1 new monster. It has 35 more levels than the Jag port!

Two HUGE things are the ability to circle strafe & a save PW system. Both of which the Jag & 32X lack. You might be able to circle strafe on SNES & 3DO ports due to proper shoulder buttons available, but not sure. Dying in the Jag port means starting that level over with the pistol. ROUGH.

Has me wanting to play more early console FPS titles I missed :). Star Wars Dark Forces is probably next on my pickup list...

I've definitely been curious about how the PSX Dark Forces port is. Let me know if you check it out.

Picked up a few more things :P. Thinking about getting the sale page up and running again since I'm kind of burnt out on eBay again and dups are piling up. Plus my parents divorce is finally proceeding so the house is slowly emptying out giving me some room to organize/store stuff. Plus I'm very close to having my own place where I'll probably devote a room to crafting/selling.

Someone traded in a big pile of weird Gameboy games to the resale shop. I thought, "Hey, it's never a bad time to make a bad decision and buy something I don't need," so I bought Blues Brothers (GB). Music is so good though. All from the movie *u*

Current Running Total
182.82

Honestly, 100 bucks a months isn't awful, but it's a bit much. Might sell some more stuff if I'm gonna keep buyin' like I have been.

Don't feel bad; I routinely spend 100 bucks a week.

Same here, I'm a little bad at controlling myself especially if I see a good deal on some games for all my consoles  (I still want to track down a copy of wind waker, and a few other games that were previously exclusives and trying to resist the urge to do it this month because I've already spent about 200 last I checked on games  ). I try to set 200 as my limit but when I'm in a buying urge it hits hard and I end up over just a bit

I'm just lucky mj hasn't done any of his bundles lately(at least I've avoided seeing it so far if he has done it lately). I'm just on that stretch of wanting to get all the essentials, and other must plays on all my systems and then call it a day. I still feel like I'm missing a crap load of those(especially since a majority of my stuff is stuff I thought sounded interesting, got in a lot, or from mj/various racketeers). Especially because in my case (unless with my recent pay increase I somehow can), I can't move out, and i'm running out of space. My book shelf only has three more shelves, and I'm getting close to half full on my handheld drawer under my bed. So yeah that may be a reason to learn to control it so i don't run out of space in my room(especially unless I somehow manage to finally clean my room to a point where my mom feels comfortable selling the house so maybe I could have a bigger room for all my stuff...). One bookcase is not enough(I need at least three, 2 for consoles and 1 for portables...) XD

I also have this buying urge frequently. I really like spending money on games, especially in the wild and some impulsive ebay buys.

See ebay I can control especially since I usually end up losing out in the last few minutes anyways on what I want(and I still have too many dups I need to get rid of too).
