i was always a fan of the looney toons basket ball for the super nintendo. and X2 for tecmo super bowl for nes.

Ha, I love Blades of Steel! Also a big fan of the old NES Ice Hockey game. Nice and simple.

I still dig NBA Jam T.E. (Genesis) and plain ol' vanilla Tecmo Bowl.

QFT. I'd like to vote for Konami's original International Superstar Soccer on the SNES, Track & Field and Codemaster's Pete Sampras Tennis.

Seriously now, I'd say Punch Out. Beyond that, I don't play sports games very much, so I really couldn't tell you.

Well all i can add is World Cup Usa '94 since it uses similar graphics as sensible soccer.
