Re: Too early to start talking about rare/valuable Wii games
The other possibility is that the dev is european and a flash of boob didn't shock them, and the publisher didn't know about it when submitting for esrb rating.

Re: Anyone still playing Splatoon?
I never got on with the motion controls, and all the clicking 'a' through new weapon announcements at the shop got really old, really fast. Also the slow map rotation is lame. But yes, I gave it another try last weekend after a multi month break.

Re: Too early to start talking about rare/valuable Wii games
Just cuz we are talking about Wiiware games that were expanded to disc version, I'll throw out TV Show King had a followup called TV Show King Party on disc. I've read they were all reviewed OK but that's one genre I don't spend much time with. I in agreement that disc releases of digital games (esp...

Re: Too early to start talking about rare/valuable Wii games
On a tangent, I often see the various hunting games ignored in rail shooter threads online. Fact is, a handful of them are fairly polished. BBHP Wii has been on my wishlist for quite a logn time. Some of them are quite good. Others - like Cabela's games (at least the Dangerous Hunts games) are tota...

Re: Too early to start talking about rare/valuable Wii games
OK, first off, THANK YOU for the tip on Big Buck Hunter Pro. I've used Amazon Marketplace and Warehouse Deals many times before so I know that when AWD sells a 'like new' it's typically in great shape. I bought one last night after your message and I believe it did say 8 in stock. Now there are none...

Re: Pokken Tournament
I'm still debating getting the controller. $25 seems a little high for a controller that's basically a simplified Pro Controller that only works in one game. Do you think the price might go down because no one buys it or up because they only make one wave and they all sell out? It's made by Hori, no...

Re: Games becoming Nintendo Selects on March 11th
Random thoughts.... Reproduction cover art should be clearly distinguished from factory cover art. Either by the printing / paper stock just being totally different or by the word 'reproduction' somewhere on the cover. I'm fairly sure the emanual always streams from the Internet, not from the disc. ...

Re: Pokken Tournament
I have the game preordered and am planning on practing it quite a bit. I've only gotten 'serious' with a couple fighters before and this one looks quirky but polished. May get the special controller. By the way, as far as dpad. I haven't watched many videos, but maybe the movement is still just 8 wa...

Re: Wii and dsi ware
ShadowPlay on WiiWare. A great idea that fits perfectly with the Wii, uses Wii Motion Plus extremely well. A concept so easy to grasp it's obvious, but still clever and accessible for anyone. It's a puzzle game of creating shadows with objects to fill an outline. Very polished presentation as well. ...

Re: Games becoming Nintendo Selects on March 11th
I'll throw my hat in the debate since we're being really picky.
The original release of the games was MP1 on GC, MP2 on GC, and MP3 on Wii. Therefore, the rerelease as 'Triology' is the 'Collectors Edition' as opposed to the 'standard edditions' being the prior GC and Wii games.
