Re: Finished MGS2, I started playing MGS3 and don't like it

Finally, somebody else who noticed the gradual degradation in the voice acting! MGS1, whilst being an overblown Hollywood pastiche, had at least the voice over work to carry it off. MGS2 barely manages to hold it together, but part of it's charm is that feeling that everything might disintegrate bef...

Play it and find out! This is in my top ten of all time.

Also, Ronin Blade by Konami for the PS1. May have been called something else outside of PAL territories.

Re: List: Best 30 NDS Games (What do you want on yr shelf)

I would have to vote against the EU/US Dragon Quest games (IV-VI) based on the overuse of regional accents and dialects. The SNES fan translations remain superior. Your thinking of just IV. They didn't do that to any extreme like IV. But why would fan translations even count? And turbolegs has also...

Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer is an incredible port of the SNES original (Fushigi no Dungeon 2: Fūrai no Shiren). I have sunk hours and hours into this one.

Re: List: Best 30 Wii Games plus Ghost Squad (10 years from

Somewhere along the line we all forgot about Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. There were a couple of votes for it early on.

This game is certainly superior to the PS2/PSP ports and implements the wii-mote ever so elegantly. I think this one will stand the test of time.

Re: The toxicity of online gaming.

I steer clear of online gaming, local multiplayer is where it's at. I've had a couple of nice parties in PSO, other than that, the only online game i've ever enjoyed is Journey . The hate is just so prevalent in other titles. I haven't had a chance to look into Mii verse but it looks right up my all...

Re: Silent Hill hi-res on ePSXe

The blurring on Harry's hands occurs when playing on real hardware. It was just an effect the developers were going for, no idea if you can change it using an emulator (i'm assuming you can't).

Re: What are you playing?

Love your avatar. How is Resist and Serve? never saw this. thanks- resist or serve is extremely hard to control, overly dark, and poorly animated, but it does survival horror really well- you really feel like you're desperate to find bullets, health packs, etc. It's also an exciting (and sometimes ...
