Re: Anyone know of a Good Star Wars Memorabilia Website
There just really isn't a market for the modern figures. So many people kept them in the packages thinking they would put their kids through college with them. The value on them really stays at just about if not below retail with a few exceptions. It makes me glad that I started collecting the origi...

Re: Dumpster iMac
Really? Leopard? I've never gotten a PowerPC to run anything better than Tiger. Is there a trick to it? Do I need a firmware update for this model? Since you have experience installing software on G5 iMacs, what is the newest version of Adobe creative suite you think will run on this hardware? Leop...

Re: rad Nintendo box
I really need to start going more often. I feel like there must be a crapton of deals I'm missing out on. I probably shouldn't be sharing this LOL, but I actually have better luck at Savers in Orem. They usually have a somewhat decent selection of games and consoles. I stopped by there this morning...

Nice on the virtual boy too! I live right next to the Provo D.I. and try to stop by at least once or twice a week.

Re: rad Nintendo box
Nice pick up! I saw that at D.I. a couple days ago too and thought the artwork was pretty cool. I decided to pass on it, but did find a copy of Yoshi's Island for $3 which I was happy about because I've never played it.

Re: Getting a 360 HD-DVD drive to work with Windows 7?
Do you have any DVD player software installed? I'm not sure with Windows 7, but I know on XP, Microsoft was too cheap to pay the fees to include the DVD Decoder software, so you had to install a DVD program like PowerDVD in order to get Windows Media Player to play DVDs. It was the same thing with t...

Re: Retro Resurrection - Kings Quest VI
Thanks for posting this, it really brings back the memories. I remember I had V on floppies and the hard drive on our computer didn't have enough space for a full install, so I actually played it off the floppies. Whenever you would go to another screen it would say "Insert Disk #" it got ...

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Went to a local retro game store today and they had Genesis games bundled in groups of 4 for $7.99
I picked one up with Ghostbusters, Earthworm Jim, and two sports games. I thought it was a steal for Ghostbusters alone, but I'm also looking forward to playing Earthworm Jim again.

Re: Genesis S-video Black and White
If you want to try a much simpler circuit for the amp, I found this thread on smspower.org, 4th post down. I used this one on a Genesis I picked up at a thrift store and it worked great. I was going to post some pics, but haven't gotten around to it yet as I still need to drill some holes for my new...
