Started a retro game podcast.
Greetings, I've been lurking here a while and while and thought I would mention that a couple of friends and I have started a monthly podcast about retro video games with a side dish of modern gaming. It's called Retro Game Squad . We've published 3 episodes thus far, and episode 4 is a couple of we...

Re: What's the rarest game you own?
Well Psychic Assassin Taromaru just came in the mail today, definitely my rarest game now and the crown jewel of my saturn collection. Re: When did you start playing games?
I would say I was somewhere between 8 and 10 years old, my first exposure to gaming was with a Texas Instruments TI-99/4A computer. I remember playing Munch-Man (a Pac-Man knockoff), TI Invaders (obviously a Space Invaders knockoff) and Super Demon Attack. I also had started programing my own text g...

Re: Ever buy a console for just ONE (or two) games?
A good friend and I bought a 3DO together as soon as Super Street Fighter II Turbo was released for it. We were (and still are) crazy for Street Fighter, and at the time, it was the only way to play that game at home. I believe the only other game I got for it was Gex.

Re: Xbox Modding: Soft mod, or chip mod?
Go with a soft mod. There's little incentive to hard mod, especially now that Xbox live is no longer an issue on that console. The softmod tools are easy to use, fool-proof, and you can find suites to install a new dash & various emulators & software all in one shot. If all you want to use t...

Re: What's the most you've ever spent on one video game?
I think I paid about $150.00 for Hyper Duel on the Saturn, and Vampire Chronicle for matching service on Dreamcast. Yeah, I overpaid on the Vampire Chronicle, but oh well, Hyper Duel was well worth it tho.
