Ever buy a console for just ONE (or two) games?

Anything that is gaming related that doesn't fit well anywhere else

Same here, but was that early on in its cycle? I'm sure the idea entered that there would be more coming and thus ultimately worth it.

I think the fact that I was like 2 or 3 and wasn't even really aware of most of the other games for it at the time probably factored in.

(I just made you feel old didn't I?)

I was 5 or 6 when we got ours.

For some reason I've always thought you were in your 30s...

I'm fairly certain I shouldn't take that as a compliment, but rather as a reason for serious self-reflection.

I got a TG-CD just to play Rondo, but ended up finding some neat stuff: Valis ll, Ys 1&2, and the epically terrible Fighting Street.

That's what I pictured too for some reason, but early 30s if that makes you feel any better. haha

When I think about it now, I bought a PS2 just to play Mega Man X8. Of course, I have way more than that nowadays. The PS2's library is too large to ignore.

I bought a turbo duo with the intention to get Rondo of Blood, but instead got Exile because of the hg101 article. Beat it once, and now the only reason I keep it is for Gate of Thunder.

I asked for a 3ds last Christmas mainly to play Paper Mario Sticker Star. (Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door is my favorite game of ALLTIME) A couple of weeks from the release date of Paper Mario I already have 8 3ds games.

A good friend and I bought a 3DO together as soon as Super Street Fighter II Turbo was released for it. We were (and still are) crazy for Street Fighter, and at the time, it was the only way to play that game at home. I believe the only other game I got for it was Gex.
