Re: What's the rarest game you own?
Maybe Faselei boxed UK for the NGPC, Galaxy Fight for the AES, or Aldynes for the SuperGrafx I would guess Faselei would be the rarest, but that's just my guess. As someone who's followed the Neo Geo Pocket market for the past couple of years, I'd agree that the UK version of Faselei is rare. Howev...

Re: What's your "main focus" when it comes to collecting?
This is an easy one for me - Neo Geo AES and Pocket. I've got pictures of my collection on my sig.
I also collect TurboGrafx-16 since it's such a small and unique library of games.

Re: Collection pics
Wow. You really got a USA Samurai Shodown 5 AES, unfixed? Isn't that one of the rarest and most expensive video games ever? I didn't even know that game came out outside of Japan. Yeah, I really lucked out on this acquisition. The game itself is kind of lackluster, but I do like having it around.

I'll just hold up a sign on a street corner saying "WANTED: Used Car. Will trade AES carts."

Re: Collection pics
I'm not sure since I haven't been in the scene for a while but are those both AES and MVS games. The shockboxes look different from each other. Nope, they're all AES games. Early AES games got the soft case, later AES games got the hard clamshell case with the latch. The clamshell cases are slightl...

Re: Collection pics
You got the must haves in my book; Lord, Nam, SS2 and a few KoF's and Slugs. Bonus points for Resort, Alpha and Viewpoint. I spy a Turbo in the first pic, automatic A+! I can tell you have excellent taste in games. Magician Lord, though, I can take it or leave it. I also consider Ghost Pilots a mus...

Re: Collection pics
Say, are those NGP games in shock boxes? That's one way of looking at it. They're like miniature versions of the snaplock cases that late-release AES games came in. UK releases (as well as early JPN releases) came in cases like the ones you see here. Far superior to the flimsy cardboard that US rel...
