The Top 5 Items In Your Video Game Collection

Post by Xtincthed »

Hey everyone,

There are different types of video game collectors, but I think most will agree that it's about quality in a collection, not about quantity.
Quality can be in rarity, price, gameplay, memories you have with a game or the way you acquired it for your collection.

In this video i showcase the top 5 items in my collection and explain why I picked them.

With this video I hope to inspire other collectors to make a (video) reply in which they show their top 5 items, with the story behind them.

The video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UeYo2tuqQm8

I'm looking forward to see your replies!

5) My TV- can't do much without that!
4) My SNES- strangely, the only part that's yellowed is the controller port. It also has the bonus of being what got me into retro gaming.
3) Earthbound- Must I say more?
2) Rock Band/ Guitar Hero instruments- priciest accessories I have.
1) Controller extenders- do you know how messy my room would be without them?

1. Sega Saturn Console
2. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (PS1)
3. Microvision Handheld (wish the buttons would respond right, but what can you expect from a 32 year old handheld?)
4. Mega Man Legends (PS1)
5. The Illustrated History of Electronic Gaming book (It's a freaking amazing, fantastic book with full color pictures, interviews with the creators and programmers, and a detailed history of the gaming industry as a whole.)

I had a Sega CD Model 2, but it stopped wanting to read discs, I also had a Commodore 64 with a crapload of games but it got the black screen of death, and I had a TurboGrafx-16 which my cat broke. If I still had those, they'd be up on that list.
