Collection pics

Post by snk.collector »

Hey guys, long-time lurker here. I thought it would be fun to post pics of my collection and maybe update this thread as I add new stuff to it.

I enjoy seeing others' video game collections grow, so I thought I might also share my collection with you guys. Collecting anything tends to be a solitary pursuit, so it's nice to to have others see your collection and to be able to see others' as well.

I mainly collect SNK stuff, as you could tell from my username. My collection isn't nearly as polished or complete as some other collections, but it's a work in progress.

Say, are those NGP games in shock boxes?

That's one way of looking at it. They're like miniature versions of the snaplock cases that late-release AES games came in.

UK releases (as well as early JPN releases) came in cases like the ones you see here. Far superior to the flimsy cardboard that US releases were treated to, but you do pay a premium. I say it's completely worth it.

Really!? If i remember correctly, JPN and EU NGPC software came in those awesome shock box like cases where American software came in fragile cardboard boxes with the exception of a few launch titles that were exclusively distributed by eToys (an online retail business in the US).

Oh! and sweet collection SNK collector.

You got the must haves in my book; Lord, Nam, SS2 and a few KoF's and Slugs. Bonus points for Resort, Alpha and Viewpoint.

I spy a Turbo in the first pic, automatic A+!

I can tell you have excellent taste in games.

Magician Lord, though, I can take it or leave it.

I also consider Ghost Pilots a must have. It's so cheap, yet so good!
