Help Me Decide What Should Be My First Classic Home Computer
Hi there everybody. I've been collecting game systems for quite a while and I've got most of the ones I'm interested in, with a few exceptions. I've always wanted to get into the classic home computer scene though, as it has always interested me from both a technological as well was a gaming stand p...

Re: Classic PS1 Can't play the Final Fantasy VII Opening
Alright, thanks for the quick reply, I'll try it out here in a minute. Since I've got it opened up, I'm gonna clean the case. It's kinda crusty after 16 years, lol... Update : Alright, now that it's back together, I've tried it again. And it loads the video perfectly, without sitting on its side. We...

Classic PS1 Can't play the Final Fantasy VII Opening
Hey everyone, long time no post. Recently I picked up a copy of Final Fantasy VII for my old PS1. I then tried to start it up in my SCPH-7501 PS1. When the game tries to load the opening cinematic the screen goes black as it starts to load and then it gets weird. You can hear the laser moving and th...

Re: Saturn burn help! (Mac/Toast 11)
Fraid I don't have a Mac to directly try it, but as long as you have your burning program load the .cue sheet for the disc, it should work fine. I would get Daemon Tools or Power Iso, or some Mac equivalent to test your images. The majority of Saturn games are mixed data CDs, meaning the first track...

Re: A free PC game every few days
PC = Personal Computer. A Mac is a personal computer. A linux box is a personal computer. I really don't know why PC apparently means "Windows". Comes from back in the old days of personal computing, where IBM came out with the IBM PC. Since they used it, and since all current Windows PCs...

Re: Nintendo: Project Cafe
I'm tired of seeing systems just use some lame derivative of the PlayStation controller. Which was just a lame derivative of the SNES controller. Indeed it was, but still, it bugs me that when someone designs a controller the first place they always seem to look is the Sony PlayStation controller. ...

Re: Nintendo: Project Cafe
My only hope for Project Cafe is that it has some new kind of controller. I'm tired of seeing systems just use some lame derivative of the PlayStation controller. And I'm not just talking about the touchscreen, I want something new, it doesn't have to be gimmicky, but just some change of pace from t...

Re: FPS games on the Wii
Black Ops really shows that a full fledged FPS can be done on the Wii, the multiplayer has everything. Lazy developers hid behind the Wii's hardware for too long removing features and not bothering to put them in because 'the Wii cant handle it'. Black Ops slapped all of them in the face. I would l...

Re: Sega CD Images
Snesorama is probably the best one out there, in fact I'd say 99% of all my Sega CD images came from there, the others from several assorted sites. One thing I would say though, with any type of image downloading, test the image in an emulator to make sure it works, and make sure you're burning it c...
